Okanagan Autumn: goats & gourds at Davidson Orchards [travel]

On what we thought was a simple mission to pick up a pumpkin, we spent an hour standing in the mud and spent all of our quarters on goat pellets. Davidson Orchard had an unexpected petting farm along side it’s mountains of pumpkins and gourds. My sister and mother and I dug into the bottoms of our bags for coins, and spent much longer than we anticipated feeding the sheep, goats, and donkeys from the pellet dispenser.
